Refund policy

Deposit Due – Deposit: $500.00 due upon booking of tour.
Final Payment – Due October 14, 2022. (non refundable)
Fully refundable up to 120 days prior to departure of tour.
50% refundable between 120 and 90 days.
Non-refundable from 90 days prior to departure.

 

Program General Information
 

Hotel Check in 1400 hrs. and check out 1000 hrs.

Rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Vehicle will be for Arrival / Departure transfers and sightseeing mentioned in itinerary only.

Lotus Temple- Delhi Closed on Mondays

Agra - Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.

Sarnath Museum-Varanasi is closed on Fridays

Note: Elephant rides will not be operational during Navaratri Days

Keeping with the heightened security procedures at all hotels we request all guests to carry a photo identity with address proof to present at check - in.

Foreign nationals are required to present their Passport and valid visa.
 

Early check - ins or late check - outs will be subject to availability and charged as per hotel policy.

The rates are valid for the dates of travel and hotels as indicated.
 

In case of any change in the dates of travel, amendment or rerouting of itinerary, change in hotels/room types, the costs will vary accordingly. In the event of circumstances/situations such as road blockage due to strike/agitation, natural calamities, sickness evacuation, delay/cancellation of train/flight etc. Also, due to monsoon rains and extreme weather patterns journey time can vary enormously at all times of year, which is beyond our control.

 

PASSPORT: You must have a valid passport to travel Internationally. You cannot travel without a valid passport - and it must be valid for a full six months beyond your return date.

Travel Entry Requirements


TRAVEL VISA: U.S.A. Citizens NEED a travel visa to travel to India.
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet the travel entry requirements of each country visited during their tour.

HEALTH AND REASONABLE FITNESS TO TRAVEL
Are there any physical conditions which apply to this trip. Although this trip is not strenuous at all, tour members need to have the ability to fully participate in the logistics and activities of this program. Ability to walk, including up and down some inclines and stairs is essential. Ability to handle your luggage is essential. If you have any medical condition or situation which might even possibly affect your full enjoyment of this escorted vacation, we ask that you indicate that when you register.  We ask this because an impediment to follow the group’s very leisurely pace may impinge on the enjoyment of others on the program and also on the work of the Tour Director and so The Travel Group will discuss the advisability with you on a case-by-case basis.

 

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend you purchase travel insurance for the trip. Travel insurance helps protect your money invested in the trip. Life is unpredictable. If you are forced to cancel or interrupt your trip because of sickness (you or family member at home), death in the family, subpoena, jury duty, acts of terrorism, bankruptcy of an airline or one of several other serious occurrences, with a good travel insurance policy you will be able to recoup most if not all the monies invested in your trip. With Covid and Covid Restrictions and possible cancellation we highly suggest purchasing insurance.  Insurance also covers some medical expenses should you get hurt or sick on your trip. If you are over 60 we highly suggest the Plus version of Insurance for higher medical coverage and if needing evacuation back to the USA.  The Travel Group can provide you with a quote for Travel insurance and go over the benefits for you. 

HEALTH & SAFETY -  The world has changed and continues to change. It is the customers responsibility to be up to date on all health and covid19 requirments. All expenses related to testing or the need for medical assistance, accommodation and other expenses are the responsibility of each guest. 

AIRFARE - NOT INCLUDED. 
The Travel group can arrange your airfare and would be pleased to offer you best fares available. Tickets must be purchased when space is booked, and are NON- REFUNDABLE. The Travel Group can frequently offer business-class with substantial savings over the published rates.

Important about your Airfare: As Domestic Airfare is not included in price, you will need to purchase your Internation Airfare. Note you will Start your Tour in Delhi and Complete Tour in Cochin where you can continue domestically or booked your flights home Internationaly.  You will also need to book your Domestic Airlines in India. See the paremeters below so that you can travel with your group.   

  • Jan 12  Delhi. Start of Group Tour.  Have your International flight arrive by Jan 12 latest. If you are arriving before Jan 12 we can book a hotel earlier or you can choose to be on your own. 

  • Jan 19 - Book Domestic air from Jaipur to Mumbai. 
    If you want to fly with your group you can coordinate with The Travel Group on flights to take to be with your group or Book a flight as outlined below.  

  • You will likely get better airfare if you take domestic flights along with international flights. Internal (Domestic) flights in India ideally should be booked between 11 am and 1 pm to travel with your group. A good airlines is Vistara Indigo  as suggested by Tour Operator or you can take any airlines that is tied with your international airlines.

  • Jan 21 Mumbai to Mangalore.

  • Jan 30- Cochin to (Your choice, home or to continue in India)

FREQUENT FLYER MILEAGE:
Clients can use their frequent flyer mileage to get to and from this escorted vacation. If you’d like to use frequent flyer mileage, we suggest that you consult with your airline immediately as mileage space across the Atlantic gets tighter early every year.
A word of caution, experience has shown that airlines can change ‘frequent flyer bookings’ at the last minute often leaving you the traveler, with considerable delays. For this reason, if using your mileage, we strongly suggest that you arrive at least one day early. AHEAD of the escorted program and if you like, we will be happy to help you with a hotel for your stay. Please carefully read the itinerary to know when you will arrive at the airport, etc., so you can coordinate your flight times with the program so there is little chance you will miss the included group transfer.

DOUBLE ROOM vs TWIN ROOM
The difference between a ‘double’ room and a ‘twin’ room is that either of these rooms are designed to accommodate two people.

A twin-bedded room has two separate beds usually of a single size, and separate bed linens, although they might be in close proximity.

We have 3 choices of shared rooms:

Single Occupancy.
