WALLY SUMNER
CEO
A travel industry veteran with over 35 years in the travel business working for two international airlines, Air New Zealand and Air Tahiti Nui in Senior Management positions and owning and operating his own businesses. A specialty of The Travel Group is Incentive Group travel. We have handled many incentive groups from sizes as small as 50 to up to 1,000 from throughout the U.S to Scottsdale Arizona we create for our clients an experience an experience never to be forgotten. As a current and long time member of the International Society of Travel Executives (SITE) I am always up to date on the incentive travel market.
LINDA SUMNER
President
Co-owner and operator of the Travel Group since its beginning in l986. Linda is responsible for overseeing all administrative and accounting for The Travel Group Inc.
Linda became a Trams Certified Consultant (TCC) in l995. As an experienced travel agency owner her unique skills enable her to provide clients with excellent customer service and satisfaction by combining her broad industry knowledge with her Trams consulting and training.
DEBBIE SUMNER
Executive Vice President
Debbie has grown up in the Travel Industry working for her family's travel agency, and business accounts while developing her many other skills in the sports and fitness industry. She is a level three certified professional ski instructor (PSIA) with excellent background in training, developing and certifying instructors in both the skiing and inline skating industry. (IISA-ICP, SKATEIA) as well as a Yoga and Nordic Walking Instructor.
She trained at the (CDC) California Design College with a certificate in computer aided design. She has been applying her skills in development of marketing materials, power point presentations, email blasts and website design. and continued to provide this to many small companies.
Debbie also worked directly with the Air Tahiti Nui website design company in the creation and implementation of their new website and vision bringing them into the 21st century.
Debbie as a partner and Senior Manager at The Travel Group is responsible for all Marketing, Advertising Creative, Design as well as with clients, travel suppliers and advertisers.
Her passion is to work with her consumer base and Sports industry clientele in creating special interest group travel worldwide.
GALAL OMAR
Vice President of Operations
Over 40 years in the travel industry has a MBA from Fordam University in NY. He started his career with Pan American World Airways in his home country of Egypt in sales and operations responsible for the Middle East and Africa. Pan Am transferred him to their New York headquarters in a Senior Management Position. He also worked for Intercontinental Hotels, Les Meridian Hotels and Marriott. speaks 6 languages fluently (French, Italian, Greek, Arabic and Spanish). Is Responsible for Sales Administration and Operations for the travel group inc.
